The CD is a good time for blues lovers but beware...there are dark passages on this winding road down GRAVEYARD JACKSON'S blues boulevard. From the openning 'SNAKE BLUES' we get a taste of some Graveyard wit & good humor. 'DRUNK ON SUNDAY' is a soul stirring lament. 'BLUE DEVIL BLUES' sounds like a square dance at the Addams Family outing. 'DOWN IN HOLLYWOOD' leads us down a street of broken dreams. 'THE HUSTLER' & 'ANYTHING FOR MONEY' are both eye openners on shady characters with errie slide guitar. 'GOTTA GET RIGHT' is a harp-vocal blaster. 'TEARDROPS IN THE RAIN' is another tale of love & woe. The bouncy *'CRAZY FOR LOVE' is like a French cabaret. 'BLUES PLASMA' has an old time feel. 'TOO HIGH TOO CRY' ends the set with yet another look into this murky blues world GRAVEYARD JACKSON has brought into focus....where everything is not as it seems.
